Pack 99 Always Has a Good Time

Scouting For Food

 

Date:        Saturday, November 12th

Time:        9:00 through 3:00 pm

Place:        Newtown Grant Recreation Center

 

Pack 99 is supporting Bucks County Council's "Scouting for Food" drive.  Den leaders will be distributing collection bags at their den meetings.  We plan on distributing Scouting for Food bags at the Haunted Hike pack meeting.  Scouts should distribute bags during the week prior to the food drive.  In addition to non-perishable food items, donations of household products such as paper products, cleaning supplies, and personal hygiene items are also in need. Scouts will bring their filled bags to the Newtown Grant Rec Center.  The date of the drop-off will be Saturday November 12^th.

 

Once again this year's drive will benefit the Bucks County Housing Group.  They provide food, housing and support services for homeless and low income families here in Bucks County.  

This organization has also asked if we could donate frozen turkeys for the upcoming holiday.  Please consider this request and bring a frozen turkey along with your collected non-perishable items.

 

Food is to be delivered at the Newtown Grant Recreation Center Building.  If you are unable to go to the scheduled drop off, or have additional questions, contact Food Drive Coordinator Steve Bauer.
