Blue and Gold Banquet

Our Blue and Gold banquet is Saturday, February 8 and we are looking forward to awarding our sons' achievements and spending the evening together with all of the pack's families.

For those who are new this year to Pack 99, this event is for the entire family and there is no charge for entry to the banquet.  The pack is sponsoring the event including the entertainment, venue, and entree-portion of the meal.

Time: 5:00p; should end by 8:00p

Site: Crossing Community Church
, 80 Lower Silver Lake Rd, Newtown, PA

Theme: Magic

Uniform: Class-A uniform

Seating: Scouts will be seated as a den and grouped by rank. They should look for the tables in the front nearest the stage and reserved for their dens. Parents and families will be situated behind the scouts at tables closest to their dens.


  Entree: Pizza

  Drinks: Families should bring their own drinks.

  Snacks, Sides and Desserts:  Families from each den bring snacks, sides, and desserts for their families to share with the families seated at their table.

Following is the program of events but it will not necessarily be in this order.

 - Welcome & Presentation of Colors

 - Introduction of Tyler Yankey, Playwicki District Director

 - Raffle Baskets and Tickets: each den has built themed raffle-baskets for which attendees may purchase tickets for a chance to win; tickets are purchased for individual baskets; enter as often as you wish for a chance to win any or all of the baskets; the winners will be announced at the conclusion of the banquet

 - 50/50 Tickets: the pack will also be selling 50/50 tickets; attendees purchase tickets and the single winner (to be randomly selected at the end of the banquet) will take half of the proceeds; the pack, as a fund-raiser for future events, will keep the other half of the proceeds.

 - Upcoming Events & Activities: briefing on upcoming events and activities

 - Briefing by representatives from Musser Scout Reserve on summer resident, and day camps

 - Pack-Leadership Recruitment: briefing about open pack-leadership positions

 - Friends of Scouting: Russ Kantner, Playwicki District Commissioner will brief the families on the 'Friends of Scouting' program

 - Awards for Tigers and Wolves: conferred by den-leaders

 - Dinner

 - Awards for  Bears, WEBLOS I & II: conferred by den-leaders

 - Entertainment: Magician,
Chad Juros

 - Drawing for Raffle-baskets & 50/50-pot

 - Adjournment and Clean-up
